Privacy policy

This policy explains what Fleeep collects, why, and the choices you have. In short: we keep what you save so you can get to it everywhere, we do not sell it, and we do not show ads.
What we collect
Account details. Your name, email address, profile photo if you add one, and your password, which is stored scrambled so nobody can read it.
What you save. Your notes, lists, images, voice notes, links, palettes, boards and the settings that go with them.
Things you send us. Feedback you write, reports about shared boards, and your email address if you joined the beta list on our website.
Technical details. Your IP address and basic request information, used for security and to stop abuse. If you turn on reminders, a notification address for your device.
How we use it
Only to run Fleeep for you: to sync your library between devices, make link previews, search your library by meaning, turn voice notes into text, send reminders, show boards you share, answer feedback, and keep the service secure. Reading the text inside your images happens on your own device.
What we do not do
We do not sell your data. We do not show ads. We do not use your notes to train AI models.
Where it lives
Your library is kept on your device and synced to our servers so it is there on all your devices. Our servers are run by Cloudflare, which stores your data encrypted at rest and also runs the AI features that search your library and turn voice notes into text. Emails, like sign-in links, are sent through Resend. These companies only handle your data to provide their service to us.
Link previews
When you save a link, our server visits that page to fetch its title and picture. The site sees a visit from Fleeep, not from you.
Shared boards
When you share a board, anyone with the link can see its contents and your name. Locked notes are never shared.
Emails
We send emails you need, like sign-in and password links. Anything else, like tips or a rediscover email of things you saved, only if you turn it on in Settings, and every one of those has an unsubscribe link.
Cookies
We use one cookie to keep you signed in. No tracking or advertising cookies.
How long we keep it
As long as you have an account. Things you delete go to Recently deleted for 30 days, then are removed. When you delete your account, your library, shared boards and account details are removed from our servers.
Your choices and rights
You can see, change, export or delete your data at any time from Settings. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to object to how we use it. Email us at support@fleeep.app, or use Send feedback in Settings, and we will reply.
Children
Fleeep is not for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If we change this policy in an important way, we will tell you in the app or by email first.
